Interesting poll...
1) No, I don't like Space; never have.
2) I go where the DJ is period.
3) Idk, never tried to pick up ppl in a club; I can't hear anything anyone is saying unless they are in my ear canal.
4) I secretly hope Super8 & Tab is doing a show in Miami every time I'm on this forum. However, I have moved on to Electro House though; better parties & hotter ppl. =D
5) I spend my Fridays socializing & drinking while playing kickball at Holiday Park. You should come! |

Never been a fan of socializing in a club. It's too loud and it just gets annoying.

See I'm the opposite. To me the social experience is as important, if not more than, the music being played. I can always dance to music at home.
I always thought the point of going to a club was to have a great time with people, whether you know each other beforehand or not. No? |

In a club, I go for the music. Sure, the crowd and the atmosphere is part of that experience, but I'm just not big on chit-chatting in a loud environment like that. To me, having a great time with people in a club is dancing with them, not yelling in each other's ear trying to get to know each other. Maybe the occasional head nod or "ah, that's my jam" is as far as I like to go. That's in a club, though, on the dance floor. If there's a quieter part of the venue (HPC outside, for instance) then I'm all for kickin' it. And you knoooow thiiiisss, maaaan. |

Fair enough. I guess I participate in a lot of non-verbal communication with people when i'm clubbing. I.e. making jokes and the like using gestures, etc. Just having a good time.
Everybody's got their own "thing" when they go out. For me, I don't often spend the entire night "in the zone" to the music. Parts of it, sure.
Back to the topic of the thread though: To summarize, Ummet Ozcan sucks, Space can be good, really ing good, but not this night. And yes, there is a much better chance of "hooking up" at Story, considering this is an 18+ "trancefamily" event which means the worst crowd ever :haha::toothless

p.s and before anyone says "oh you hate trance you techno-worshiping " keep in mind that I DO like trance and I'm attending the Ben Nicky/Suzy Solar event at The Kennedy. Give me good trance and I'm there. |
