Other styles (House, Techno, progressive...) SUXX big time compare to trance music. Trance is magic. In a near future, it will kills a lot of music styles I think. I don't understand people who don't like trance music!!!:eek:
Trance: emotion, energy.
House: old 70's disco sounds, repetitive, SAME BASSLINE, no energy.
Techno: Crazy, always the same boom boom non-stop, no melody.
Progressive: no emotion, no melody, looks like techno music, HORRIBLE.

I think trance is way more repetitive than progressive. I love trance but there is way more of a generic formula to trance.
starts off with the bass drum: "boom boom boom boom.....oh here comes the bassline: "bumba mumba bumba mumba...that little melody thingy kicks in: "leet leet...leet leet"...now come the hi hats: tsk tsk tsk tsk...breakdown repeat of simple synth line that gets louder "la la la la...then BOOM everything all together.
I love trance, but I don't see how people say progressive is more repetetive, I think it offers more variety. Which is why I like both in dj sets..along with other Genres. I like techno and deep house alot. |

Yeah that's what I was thinking.
I can't answer the question, since I have no objective criteria by which to evaluate what style is best, but personally I like listening to trance mostly - it has a combination of energy and emotion no other genre can consistently match. |

About the RANK 1 remix of "the sound of love" I said the first time "GREAT VOCALS TUUUUUUUNE" ok! but I just heard the VOCAL PART in a litlle sample.
When the full tune was out I was really disapointed.That's why my opinions about the remix changed.
