great blend of elements in this track. i like how handclap-heavy it is, within such a classy vibe.
could be a warm up track, or last tune of the night.

| You could have posted this in the balance thread, where you lifted it. Superb track tho, atmosphere dialed in :o. |

it's in the balance CD?
didn't notice, i actually lifted it from the total kompakt 14 CD.
could have posted it in that thread also :toothless
can't be that downtempo then?!
unless they deliberately pitched it down a good bit - especially considering it is near the start of the first disc...
not a fan of tracks pitched down considerably below their natural BPM. |

A real beaut track this, I always enjoy Tejada's stuff, his Parabolas album is a particular favourite.
I must agree about tracks being slowed right down, it actually becomes a little exhausting to listen to after a while. |

First you should explain it correctly. It's not pitched down, the bpm is just lowered. What cattaneo has done is actually ask people to slow down their tracks and probably re-render it in slowed down format. it's not pitched down, it's at the same pitch just slower.
that said, I have no clue why anyone would have a problem with changing a songs bpm from its original. the dj is supposed to show tracks in a different light, both by playing off other tracks and editing given tracks as needed. i think you're too conservative here. |
