He floored her. Cold out. Her head hits the rail. He has to drag her limp body out of the elevator. Her injuries could have been permanent or even fatal.
If you actually look at the video, she gives him a glancing slap on the arm as she walks past, to get in to the elevator.
Aww, didums. He needed to floor his fiance because she got up in his face?
He corners her in the elevator, gives her a harsh slap, she steps to him, and he then follows by a one punch knock out.
You may find it a double standard on men vs women, but whatever is going on, when you're a 210+lbs pro running back and a girl, half your size, hits you or spits at you, you have a million other options that don't involve said girl ending up in hospital.
It would be one thing if she's in full Tasmanian devil assault (aka Solange mode) but he punched her not once but twice, and there's no self defense about it.
Just like Mike tyson, war machine and now ray Rice: Big muscles, Tiny Brain and a circle of facilitators around you = disaster. |

I'm not trolling, I don't get why you're concerned about Ray Rice losing his job, and her not being punished for what happened. I think that's a ing insane way of viewing it.
But hey, at least he didn't kill her, which could have easily happened if that video is any indicator. |
