He's playing in Atlanta tonight and I know a few people who are going. Worth it? I haven't followed him in forever but I've really enjoyed a lot of his older output.

Is this a real question?

It is lol, I don't have much spare cash atm and I've got work tomorrow morning, along with The Black Madonna tomorrow night and DVS1 on Saturday. :p

Also the locals opening for him are uhhhh.... ehhhhhhhhhhh.

I wouldn't expect the atmospheric/artcore side of DnB from him nowadays but $14.00 is more than reasonable to see LTJ...the mixing

Do it for your country.

I've seen Bukem three times, and I'd see him again in a heartbeat if the chance came up. He's by far the smoothest DJ I've ever seen, the mixing and the flow are beyond comparison, and he was still playing on vinyl when I saw him. Yes, the stuff GLR puts out now isn't a patch on the Logical Progression days (with the occasional exception) but when he pulls it together into a set it still sounds amazing, especially if Conrad is on the mic.

On the subject of old school Good Looking, a couple of weeks ago I saw PFM play a Speed-era classics set, and that stuff really is on another level in a club. A lot of those tunes from back then sometimes sound a bit too ambient on the headphones for me to imagine them working, but stuff like this actually works really, really well on a dancefloor:

The Rattler
I've seen Bukem three times as well, he's hands down my favourite D&B DJ and his MC is also my favourite out of almost anyone. He flows perfectly with the music with Bukem giving him moments to shine and the other way around as well. It's an epic combo for an amazing time.

Been listening to LTJ Bukem recently. I had heard who he was but never got around to checking him out. Glad I did. Really like Logical Progression, Music, and Demon's Theme. If you guys say that he really is that great live, I would love to check him if he ever came to NYC. If you guys have any mixes of his that you can recommend, that would be great. Already heard his 1996 Essential Mix and it was quite enjoyable.

BTW, System J, I found these recently. Thought you might like them.

He also has an EM in '95 as well and my favorite of the two.

He's playing a Speed-era (AKA: 1995) classics set in London next month. Extremely tempted.
