University = higher education, gives you more oportunities within one company.
College = better experience, faster job search.

Some of you might disagree, its only my opinion.
University - theory, leading to real world application near the end, enables you to explore farther than what you have learned, as well, requirements for boss positions
College - application, training to be a machine, locked in a factory fishbowl with few skills, lucky if with more than one skill, lack of carreer expansion

No I disagree
University- theory don't learn what's out there and they don't prepare you for it
College - real life situation, professors are real poeple from the industry, they train you to what to expect, unlike just theory
that's my opinion
I'm in college and its 3 years |

this is my opinion:
university - Gives you a good theoretical background so you can use the theory you learned to come up with new and ingenious ideas. eg: you graduate knowing how to design something or come up with solutions never thought of before.
College - Gives you lots of practical applications for things but not much theory. eg: you graduate knowing how to do/fix things, so basically a technician or sorts. Much more limited opportunities in the future.
As for social life, it depends on what you're studying. I think programs leaning towards the engineering and math in both university and college are more stressful than the arts type courses only because there are more lab hours. |

i have done both....
University= Theory... not much hands on... all books...
College= More hands on... Teachers are actually from the field that you are learning ....
I found college more useful... coz they are actually teaching you from the real world experience.... |
