Totally ing dumb:stongue:

Yeah, if you don't have an external audio interface with a bunch of inputs the TB-3 is the same way. Its a royal PITA to use on Windows. I love using the TB-3 on my Macbook, you just set it up as an aggregate device and you are done.

Luckly I have a Zoom H6 for field recordings that doubles as an ASIO interface with 6 inputs, so the TB-3 uses just 2 of them.

Juan: I didn't know TR-8 had total integration like that? Can you post us a screenshot of it?

Hmmm interesting. I know I could definitly set that up in Reaper, not sure about Bitwig.

Oh god, I understand tehlords point now. No total DAW integration on Windows with the ability to still hear monitors :(

The TB-3 doesn't work with Windows WASAPI so you can't create an aggregate device like you can on OSX. It only works with ASIO. Imagine that the TR-8 is the same way.

That TR8 is very tempting - however I have my eye on one of these http://www.mfberlin.de/Produkte/Mus...ominion_1e.html

the demos ive heard sound sweet as - would also like to get Ableton Push or Maschine but that'll have to wait till next year as I just bought a new house :toocool:

One thing is for certain is that when it comes to component audio quality dacs are just useless like L4C mentioned, anyhow i'll def be keeping my turntables and anyone who wants to come over play at my jams is going to have to play time code vinyl with their own supplied thumbdrives.

thought u had Barefoots??? what makes you think the PMCs will be better than the Focals?
Evolve140
A Bass Station II. Played around with one at Guitar Center -- super expressive playing. SEems like it would be great for playing live basslines
Mel David
Deferring my gas till next year: Electribe Sampler.

Naww I just can't afford barefoots or the ones you have. The PMC's have more inputs and digital signal processing. One thing is that PMC makes higher end monitors than focal. One thing I'm really after is neutrality with even balance and greater extension.
