I've been working on this one for a while, Virus TI was the main workhorse. Professionally mastered @ Metropolis. What do you guys think?

no feedback?

I like it except for the squeaky-toy sound, and the vocals sound out of sync

Did you find a singer for this or are the vox taken from somewhere else?

unfortunately their vocals from a released track, nervo - revolution. I really wanted to try to shop this track around but there's no way I could get that acapella cleared. i'd give my left arm for a female vocalist. i've come across some great female singers from searching different production-related forums and reading people's recommendations. unfortunately I don't have the money to hire a vocalist atm.

it took me a minute to figure out which sound you were referring to as the squeaky-toy sound. you're talking about the short, high pitched sound that's layered over the ghost kicks and shuffled hats/tambourine? that's actually james brown's voice saying "eh", it's transposed up 9 semitones for the chipmunk effect. there's no funk break in this song's drums but I tried to give it a "think break" sort of feel with a tambourine and a pitched up james brown vocal clip. thanks for taking the time to give it a listen and for the feedback
