I think he needs investors for his upcoming sake line that's why he's doing this event in such an exclusive spot

Does any of that allude to the fact that there might be a potential NYC residency? I'm fearful it may be considered with the opening of Space and hosting this event here in NY. Then again, if you need capital, where else would you fundraise?

The event is at TAO Downtown because Richie has teamed up with TAO Downtown to launch ENTER.Sake in the US.

Here's a little blurb from Richie.

“This is a proud moment for me as our ENTER.Sake project evolves with our first project outside of Ibiza with the introduction of the ENTER.Matsumoto Sake selection at the new TAO Downtown restaurant in New York. Sake has been an integral part of the success of the ENTER.Ibiza events and with Jason Strauss’s & Naoh Tepperberg's similar love of Japanese Food, Sake & Electronic music, this partnership makes perfect sense. The new TAO restaurant is the right place for ENTER.Sake first steps into North America market and helps continue our combined commitment to bring the best quality Japanese Sake to a wider audience. With ENTER.Matsumoto we bring the the heritage of the Matsumoto brewery and culture of Kyoto one step closer to the rest of the world. A delicious and exciting new chapter to the developing ENTER.Sake story.” -Richie Hawtin

when Joan Rivers had a career bender, she started selling jewelry

the connection is as logical as Sake and ENTER. but hey, if it keeps things rolling in...

he's been involved with sake for years... and techno is bigger than ever right now so I don't think his career is taking a dip at all

He loves his Sake and it's great to see artists involved in projects they're passionate about.
