Kicking off our third week, Space Ibiza New York is excited to announce the lineup for Friday, September 26th. Following yet another successful season on the White Isle, the very talented DJ/producer Behrouz leads the bill for his Space Ibiza NY debut. Offering attendees an opportunity to indulge in his iconic funk driven style, this San Francisco - bred musician will undoubtedly make proper use of our massive Funktion One sound system. In the supporting role, we’ve invited two widely regarded up and comers to set the tone. Starting off will be the very talented Italian DJ/producer Sasha Barbot, followed by NYC native Orazio Rispo. With both DJs boasting a laundry list of appearances around the globe, it’s very clear that they will not disappoint. As if that were not enough, the party continues following Behrouz’s set. For the afterhours portion of the night, DJ/producer Antonio Piacquadio will serenade attendees well into the wee hours of the morning. Kicking off at 11 PM, Behrouz and company will certainly gift party- goers with a night to remember, get ready!

This place is a CLUSTERING MESS!!!
Arrived there at 1am with a ticket.. and was pointed towards this line going down the block!!! then... to make matters worse, it starts raining... lol.. you gotta laugh about it.. otherwise, I would've blown a gasket! lol
Anyways.. make a long story short, I eventually get to the front, after waiting about 45 minutes (20 minutes of that in rain, which got me soaked) and was told the place closed their doors, and were at capacity, and to go home.. hahahaha.. are you serious? hahaha
I hope Space gets their act together... or goes bankrupt soon.. so the better DJs goto the better managed establishments...
How do you claim your dress code is "Casual and Neat," but expect a different thing??? If you want the crowd of attendees to dress to impress, SAY IT!!! sheeeeshhhh |

That's exactly what they want.
They reason you and everyone else got effed was because they were totally catering to the $$$
just enough cattle on the floor so that the VIP section doesn't get the feeling their in a non-hot space.. |

so whats the over/under till all the hype dies and this place fails?
i say it will be strong for a few months then it will do what sankeys did, close for random weekends (i can see it happening in the summer when dj's are away) then reopen in the fall with a big "1 year party" after that i dunno i dont see it being nothing special
i say by 2016 it will either be closed or a laughing stock |

Well, it looks like they are going the EDM route too since they have Tiesto there on Saturday. It'll either be closed or full on EDM crap within the year. |
