I saw Emerson about a year ago and he was a bit disappointing to be honest. I'm not sure what he was playing off but he sounded like a "fiddler" - he kept ing with his tracks, especially the breakdowns, and it constantly felt like the bass was dropping on the wrong beat, or off-beat.
Maybe this set is better. |

the flow between tracks 3 to 7 is what made me really dig this set. the beginning was a little rough and tail end he seemed to kind of lose the groove.
