UNDERWORLD: anybody else going?

| theyre in town tonight at koolhaus... just wondering if anybody else is going...or even cares. i used to love em back in the day so why the hell not go check em out. |

i went last night to the one in Pontiac, MI....it was KILLER! Those guys never disappoint!
the show was absolutely amazing. The venue is a bit smaller than Kool Haus, but as Maxim says "The smaller the crowd, the more intense the buzz."
People were going nuts the whole night. Plus, the opening act was pretty good too...couple guys on the decks dropping some mean dark tribal house.
Rick had a couple problems with his mac's during the gig, but Karl just played it off and kept dancing like mad around the stage. It was quite the show...hard to beat.
Cheers to all you guys seeing them tonite...you'll LOVE it!

just got in...they played a little over two hours. from 10 til a little past 12. i dunno... i liked it but i didnt all at the same time. it was really cool getting to see these guys, but there just wasnt a flow to the set, they kinda stopped between each song. but moner was off the hook, and pearls girl and whatever the they played after it were awesome. werd... i'd give it a 6 out of 10.
oh as for the crowd...it was a bunce of experienced party goers like us ta's and then a bunch of nubs who didnt dance...and kinda stood there...being thirty...and wearing really ty spider web design t-shirts.....
ok...give it a 6.5 or 7 outa 10, i changed my mind. |

Well, I was going to go.. but....
when I went to Release records to buy the tickets IS aw that the dude still had Sasha Early Bird Tix.. so the choice was obvious and I am glad I bought Sasha instead because 25$ for only a 2 hour liVE PA would have kind of dissapointed me. BTW, did they play Born Slippy? |

I am not saying that the event sucked.. By all means. The thing is I know it would have been great had I have gone. But I only had the money for one event. When it comes to a party I choose Quantity over Quality because both were at Guv so I know I would spend the same amount of money on booze. but I am by no means bashing the party dude :D |
