Are people playing LIES records out at parties?

Anyone been at a club when a LIES record was dropped? If yes...which tracks went over well?
Some of the tracks are good and some are so wacky I can't imagine them going over too well. I still have no idea what to make of this label as a whole. |

Can't comment on playouts, but I've really been putting off purchasing the Music For Shut Ins compilation. There's some great stuff on that comp but mainly want this track:

| Big hit or miss. But I have both Voiski records and have played both out - very good. Also I'd say the Simoncino ones are very playable, as are some others. It's really a label you need to approach on a per-release basis. Don't try approaching it as a whole. |

| Like the dub mix of Where Did You Go?. I could see that being pretty effective on the dancefloor. |

We've got a local DJ who's dropped many a L.I.E.S cut and they've gone down well.

Probably depends on the crowd. If it's a bunch of normal clubbers the more out there probably won't go down well, if it's a bunch of wankers that also like to go to artsy noise-band shows it probably will.
With the amount of output, there obviously is a lot of playable material in the label's catalogue but a lot of it is just intentionally terrible. |

That was the only conclusion I could come up with. Some tracks you can tell are trying to be abrasive for the sake of it. |

| Seems like they took the Theo Parrish aesthetic and went extreme with it. |
