On the actual forum there is only one pop up, thats all i get.
And it is only every time u login :)
But swamper doesnt have any control if the pop up from this site has another pop up inside it, but this isnt the case
Are you talkin about the main site, because that is the same :) |

| hhmmm... it doesn't seem to be happening to me. I think the pop-ups aren't that bad here, it could be a lot worse. Anyway, I don't know what happened to your connection to behave like that :p |

Swamper..
You should really consider having the ADs right on the page itself, that is less annoying that popups!
I see you have a anti-anti-popups script in place. I understand that without ads, it'd be difficult to run this site but, there are people like myself who surf with the anti-popups for *other sites* who just bombard us with popups. I would not mind however ads on the pages themselves.
:tongue2 |

If you get popups on every click then it's your fault for blocking cookies - set your IE security zone restrictions to Medium and you'll be fine
Loconet - Only specialized targetted/sponsored/pre-arranged ads can be displayed in that fashion on forums pages - ad companies do not allow you to place their ad code (for banner rotation) on pages where you are not 100% in charge of the content that is in place - only way that happens on a forum is if every post is moderated prior to it being displayed. |

They help pay for the site. If you don't like them stop complaining. This is like the 4th pop-up thread I've seen. You should be congratulating Swamper for his efforts in bringing us this wounderful community, rather then complaining about popups.
EDIT: 5th thread. :p |

Ah, I see what you're saying.
Would customizing the forum's source to display the ads give you the 100% control you need? |

| Loco, I guess he said he would have to moderate EVERY post here... this wouldn't be possible... and human :p |

Pop ups supply income, banners dont as much usualy, as people dont bother to click on them. So thats why the pop ups are there :) |
