| so, i get in problem free and quick as . mark oliver is amazing. manzone came on and damn him and strong suck mad whang, idk if I'm a hater but i never liked them ever. deep dish started pretty dope IMO. towards of the night it turned into sharam vs dubfire for a few songs each. i was actually enjoying sharam ( WTF?) dubfire sucks bad... overtime his turn came on it would be the same tech house bass line over and over. i left when he dropped exit around 550. they had the crowd in their hands though. i was going to stay until the end but dubfire sucked the will to dance out of me though. however i don't regret going. i met a bunch of new people and overall had a good time |

i wish i could be thorough but my brain doesn't let me remember these things.
starting to piece things together.
the crowd wasn't like the digweed crowd at all. so many people standing taking pictures and videos. the push me out of the way and stand still to take a damn video. k get off your phones dickwads. oh and some retard was screaming ali for 10 minutes till i told him it was manzone...
when the did street meat get to the price of a mcdonalds combo? a bottle of water and a hot dog was 8 dollars. STALE BUN TOO. if it wasn't cold id go to mcdonalds. cab drivers harassing you for business.
edit : @ chris. i do have a good judgement if the music was on point or not though ! |

Awful, awful. Where is Richie Hawtin and his monitors when you need him?
Seriously though, those people just KILL the vibe of a dance floor. |

| There must have been 7 or 8 people filming a video from behind the booth during Deep Dish's intro |

Lol I wasn't trolling you, I was actually very amused because I used to write similar reviews when I was angry/just coming home at a very early hour. |

I got in around 12:45am after about a 25 min wait in line + search + coat check. It was really rammed in there, way over capacity. How the Guv gets away with this is beyond me.
Anyways, M&S actually set up Deep Dish quite nicely. Only caught their last 3-4 tracks but it was decent.
As for Deep Dish, I'd give their set a 6.5/10. There were some good classics here and there, multi-layered proggy goodness and chunky tech but for the most part it was pretty bland and repetitive. Neither of them really surprised me.
Crowd was bad - lots of shoving and pushing, kandy galore, people who smelt like they haven't showered in weeks lol.
I had a much better time at Digweed musically and way more room to dance. I still had a great night, but left underwhelmed. |
