Guv: Final Destination or NYE????

| I haven't used this forum in years, but it is an emergency so I hope the good TAs of Toronto are as helpful as ever!! I am planning a trip from PA/NY with some friends to Toronto, we want to go to the Guv one last time for a million different reasons. Obviously, it needs to be done now. So, we are planning the week of new years, and i notice on their site there are 2 events that week: Final Destination on Sunday and then NYE on Wednesday. Destination seems to be all access, which is ideal, and NYE says its only guvernment. Which would be the better event?? I read only one review of Destination from a previous year, and it was pretty bad. Talk of like 13 year olds being there... no bueno. I would much prefer the all access, but the review i read said they weren't even serving alcohol.... that would just be absurd. if anyone could shine some light on when i should come up there that week... i would greatly appreciate it!!! thanks so much. |

final destination is the yearly Christmas all ages event, they have one for each major holiday...
the one on Nye is Magic in the Guv and than im sure there will be a separate koolhaus event with international talent... previous years they have had steve aoki, deadmau5 and avacii if I'm not mistaken... wait a couple of weeks and something should be announced...
historically Toronto has been pretty for international djs on nye...
ink is holding a winter "festival" called Solaris and the direct energy center during the holiday season and I am sure the guv will hold an after party with some of those djs... I think skrillex and kaskade have been announced for that Solaris event... Solaris is 16+ if I am not mistaken lol
so if you like edm and 16 year olds than your in luck lol
I suggest wait for that koolhaus event to be announced... |
