| Today...sunday...Twilo makes front page of the Daily news for kid's od'ing and bouncers throwing them in back rooms instead of freaking taking'em to the hospital....hmmmm interesting....check it out! |

I saw that posted all over the place today... Any opinions on it? At least we won't get eaten alive like on CP and it won't have to be one sided like it is on the Twilo board...
My Opinion? It wasn't handled too well by Twilo, but at the same time... it's stupid that those kids should SUE Twilo b/c they did something STUPID and ended up paying the price for it...

| I definetely agree with ya....Twilo could of handled it much better....throwing kids who pass out on drugs into a back room is not the smartest thing. But taking "G" isn't the smartest thing one can do either. It was just a bad situation all around. The one thing I didn't like was how the article did not mention the fact that Twilo has a zero tolerance policy regarding drugs use...you can't miss that huge sign above where you pay for admission. Not to mention that the bouncers on the main floor are very swift in catching kids who use drugs. My cousin's friends got pulled from the floor at Twilo last week for PvD and they weren't even using anything. It was definetely a one sided article. But I saw a post from Twiloboss on Twilo's board and he called the reporter "dopey". I don't know if "Twiloboss" is actually someone on Twilo's management or not but if you think the reporter is wrong then put out a public statement showing how he was wrong....dispute his accusations with the real facts if the reporter was misrepresenting actual events....calling him "dopey" doesn't really help their case. |

haha... that is SO true... I only say this cuz I know I won't get torn a new one by everyone here... but sometimes... when someone accuses one of the security guards of abuse or about something that's wrong... the reply that TwiloBoss gives is sometimes ridiculous. He says things like "people are lying about this to hurt our lovely community b/c they're jealous of what we have and you shouldn't beleive what he/she is saying". I personally think that that is ridiculous. If someone makes a claim he should just say something about PMing him personally, or deal with it in a better way rather than calling the accuser a flat out LIAR. Only when A LOT of people start agreeing with a statement does he even CONSIDER asking people to PM him or even acknowledge the fact that there MIGHT be a problem. Don't get me wrong... I love Twilo, it's a great place... but sometimes, I think that TB has to get off his high-horse... He also likes to call ass-kissing "respect". There's DEFINITELY a difference. I can respect you WITHOUT making it seem like I'm kissing your ass.

| I think what everyone goes to Twilo should realize is that yes they through out kids rollin or through them in the back. Unfortunately, sometimes they throw out kids who are doing anything. Whats the purpose of all this? To make room for more people to enter the club. To make more moola basically. It sucks. You see it every weekend. The bouncers grab whoever is acting suspicious and take them outside. Also, if you're an ass to them they will remember you. I had a friend thrown out a year ago. He still can't get in. |

| Damn yur friends must have bad luck.....when my cousins friends got pulled from the floor they were taken to the doors behind the main set of bleachers and searched. On one kid they found one hit of x...took it away from him and let them go back inside. Weird how some people get thrown out for doing nothing and this kid had something on him and they were cool about it. Also about 2 years ago my ex and I went and he had two hits on him...at the metal dectector the found it on him and just made him throw it out but let him enter....so I dunno...there's gotta be more reason they just for moola...b/c they didn't throw that kid out with the hit and none of the bouncers bothered me or my ex later that nite inside Twilo and they easily could have conisdering they had alredy found stuff on him. There really seems to be no rhyme or reason to this establishments actions...I used to love going to Twilo b/c the musik was great and it wasn't all about the drugs and such. But I really feel that Twilo's management needs to address the situation talked about in the papers recently...b/c I not to thrilled in paying money to support a club which refuses medical treatment to people who have od'ed. I'm seriously rethinking going in June for PvD....I don't know whether I'm just being self righteous and stupid or whether it is better to take a stand against something I see as unfair. And maybe my $35 not being there on June 8th won't mean anything to Twilo but if enough people stood up for what they think is right Twilo would have to listen. |

| As for as "e" is concerned, I've seen guys get caught with more than one pill. Most of the people they pull behind the bleachers near the exit have upward of 10 or more. I knew one kid who picked up right b4 coming to twilo. He got caught with 40 pills and got kicked out. I'm pretty sure the bouncers keep it as well. Its just a well known practice that the bouncers start tossing people who are too messed up. As far as taking care of people who od, I think its our responsibility to take care of our own. Honestly, why do they care? It's not PC for them to admit that drug use is rampant in twilo. Taking care of people who OD would just incriminate them. Still, I know what u mean. Its messed up. U should go to Twilo for PVD anyway. For those who of us who "drop," we should know better than to go wandering off alone. Always drop with friends and make sure u let them know where u are going. Look out for one and another. It should never come to the point where OD or get sick and nobody is around to help u. If u can enjoy the muzik with out the drugs, even better. |

i agree with you garfield...a good friend of mine knows people at twilo, and there is a "closet" they call it. the bouncer will basically smack someone who has passed out and is alone and if they dont wake up then they are thrown (literally, ive heard) into this nasty closet filled with other kids. when morning comes they open the closet and everyone stumbles out not knowing what happened. (you have to be really fu cked up to get in there)
although this is like animal treatment, they dont give a shi.t, and yes you shouldnt be stupid enough to roll w. people you dont know and get yourself that messed up. forget about the drugs if you must and go for the music!

| Yeah, I don't understand why anyone would want to drop who people they don't know. U might as well go lock yourself in the "closet." But, I must admit it is the music that is enticing, I notice alot of bashing of E users on this site. I don't know, to each their own. As long as they enjoy the music. I really can't wait for PVD either. I don't go to Twilo unless he comes. I don't find the music as uplifting from the other artists there. I started going becuz of SASH two years ago. I thought it was great. Then my friend suggested going to PVD. I was like WHO? Then after the first time i heard PVD I was hooked. Never went to see anybody else again @ Twilo. I'm flying to IBIZA this year to see hime first week of August. |

| I only go out to Twilo for PvD as well. I used to go all the time for S and D. But then I got pregnant, had the kid and so it's hard to find someone to watch her so mommy can dance her ass off all nite long at some club....so since PvD's my fav dj and he only spins once every other month my mother agreed to watch the baby when he's at Twilo!! What a great mom! =) I think she does it mainly b/c she feels bad about circumstances between me and the babys father...bc she hates that i go clubbing...but shes g reat for letting me get out and feel young once in a while! YAY mom! lol....ok i've turned this thread from a twilo discussion to a great mom discussion! lol....well since we all seem to be going to PvD maybe we should have a TA meet up....it would be cool to meet you guys from the board. We def have some time to work out the details! Let me know if ur interested |

| First Twilo Chik, let me say congradulations on your kid. Second, lets all give props to your mom!!!! Yay Twilo Chik's mommy!!! I would love to meet up and go as a group to Twilo for Pvd. I go kinda of early though to avoid the crowds. I usually get in line around 10:30. But, it would be fun to meet up. Oh yeah, whats the deal with these stupid $35 membership cards? |
