| Since there are only a few of us that chat on here. What are some ideas to help drive a bit a traffic and get this place strong like the NYC or west coast sections? |

we could post more events, like really actually keep that updated. maybe restart the actual event thread where everything is on one page as well, but that takes a lot of work from someone.
reviews after shows. this used to be huge. now no one posts anything. like whats the point of this forum if we can get the pre event info from fb or wherever the and never actually get any insight into how the show was?
other than that, really its about having a tight community of people who actually enjoying talking crap with each other. |

| Since everything is about facebook, people who are active in groups need to push this site. I would but I'm anti social media. Don't need a whole personal profile made of me by NSA and the CIA . |

Events, reviews, chit-chat/rhetoric/etc. But it needs a format.
Those other two subforums aren't 'stronger' than FLTA. None of the three is a thriving community by any stretch.
I've tried to post events. I wrote some reviews, too.
And people who are really active on here know how much of the back and forth I've done on TA in general. All in good fun.
The answer isn't a mod; it's Swamper.
The site itself needs a revamp. It's 2015, son. Get your page game up.

Good point Pat! Def this site needs more current information. Only region worse is Vegas.,
I keep checking and things aren't here. LIV events are never posted, want that early bird ticket.
And the haters who always say that their DJ sold out and would never attend the upcoming show, they bring down the forum.
Your WMC guide and tips few back really made the site great.

I think a lot of folks are like me. I check this site weekly but I don't get out as much as I want to thus don't contribute much. Quite frankly there isn't in NE FL. I feel left out as far as event attendance goes but I usually do post on the parties I end up going to. I usually just end up getting frustrated living in Jacksonville and seeing the stuff that goes down in Miami. Just this month Lawler, Art Department, Howells, Cap + so many more down there and that is just straight up unfair!
One section I love to check is the "what are you listening to now" thread. I usually find some gems and I drive around town for a living so getting those mixes q'ed up on the pod is huge. I also really enjoy Donnie's comments as an "insider" as well as some of the other tech heads like me (UCF, Pat, Donnie, etc etc).
Always love the WMC info too as I can usually get a read on parties as far as hype and expectations but that has been fading a bit in the last few years.
Guess I just need to do my part and contribute more. I'm mid 30s having grown up on the Orlando rave scene and I'm not leaving anytime soon either. I do miss the party reviews. So many events I salivate over, check in to see how they were and nothing. I promise I will review anything I hit up in the future.... |

no disrespect, but liv events usually arent posted because all of us hate that place.
story is tolerable
don't know if you have ever checked out soem of the more intimate spots like trade, treehouse, pickle, don't sit on the furniture ect, but they are usually more fun with a better crowd, but like i said if liv is your thing thats cool. |
