From his webpage www.chicanemusic.com
Chicane is delighted to announce that he has signed a new major recording deal with Warner Music UK. He is looking forward to the future with them. Towards the end of 2002 you should begin to hear his great new single "Love on The Run". The track will probably be released early in 2003 to be followed up by the new Chicane album in late spring/early summer.
When asked how he felt Nick said, "I'm really pleased to be joining Warners and am excited about the great opportunities that working with their team will give me. The new album material is really strong and I am putting together a brand new live show for 2003. It will be good to be back on the road and I look forward to seeing some of you then." |
Cant wait, finally he's coming back to life and out of his public hibernation |

what happened was Chicane was in a legal battle with Xtravaganza (the label he signed with for all his other works), because they said his new material 'wasn't good enough', and Chicane couldn't get up and leave with his music because it 'belonged' to Xtravaganza. But they've settled out of court, so Chicane should be back in action soon ;) |
