I don't normally make threads just to discuss a hyped club track but I've seen a few people raving about this, and it sounds undeniably massive:

King Unique are playing in Manchester with Henry Saiz in January. Hopefully I'll get to hear it out then, if not sooner.

Yes, but that clip is gimped out.

The clip isnt that bad, I can still hear a great melody behind. Sounds really ing good actually. The King Unique remix isnt released yet huh?

I'm listening to the original and it sounds like a nice breakbeat track.

Unfortunately, King Unique is only Matt Thomas nowadays, and from what I've heard from friends that went to see him, he plays mostly House music. That being said, they loved the show. As long as you don't have the expectation to hear all the 2000-2004 remix anthems you should have a good time :p

Henry is, I heard, a hit and miss, he can play alot of the "deep house" trendy stuff, or delve into more proggy sound stuff.

Hopefully you'll get the two on a good night :)

I've seen King Unique recently as a one man show and he played a great set! He really seemed to know what the crowd wanted. His productions of late have really been top notch too (check out his remix of Mahloch - Walls)

I've also seen Henry a couple of times (one for the launch of his balance and more recently his live show). His style recently is a lot slower, more housey but I can still dig it!

That doesn't bother me too much. The promoters put on more proggy/trancey stuff and I think it will be made clear it's that kind of night. Jon saw Henry Saiz at the Ministry recently and he came back singing his praises, and we know he's not exactly a house head.

I would be disappointed if it's just wall-to-wall house, but that wouldn't be the end of the world.

king unique has made quality tracks for many years, prolifically so. you know though, that the finished track is going to sound very different to that clip, they always do. look forward to hearing it. seems like a no-nonsense well rounded track - groove, melody and nice stabby percussion going on.

here is my favourite recent KU release. pumpin'.

Great track, John played it tonight in Warsaw as a closing one :)

Sounds like a fantastic track, especially to hear live. Thanks for sharing. :)

Its good but I still favor the original because the synthline soars there, also, progressive breaks.
