My sister and I split up the cooking duties so my mom doesn't have to cook.

Never had Mac and Cheese on Thanksgiving. Had it one year on Christmas when my aunt realized that cooking a big ham wasn't exactly going to work with my cousins then boyfriend (now husband) who comes from a Muslim country (he isn't Muslim himself but he still doesn't eat ham all that often). My mom was recruited to make it (she makes awesome mac'n'cheese).
I'm not making anything. My aunt and uncle handle the whole shebang like every year, though I try and show up early to help out before hand. |

| My mother in law takes care of pretty much everything, but we've been asked to bring raw veggies, and I'm thinking of making a spinach dip or Hummus to go with it. |

| Just started making the brine for the turkey. Himalayan Pink salt, raw sugar, cranberries, garlic, sage, apple, orange peel, juniper berries, whole black peppercorns, thyme, and rosemary. My entire house smells amazing. |

I guess Mac and Cheese for the children? I dunno. Definitely not one of the traditional Thanksgiving sides, despite how delicious it is.
I'm going to a restaurant for Thanksgiving. Only friends with a few Americans over here, no point in us cooking it ourselves. Gonna get drunk off whiskey anyways, so not that different from home-cooked :o |
