That list is bogus.
Different demographic, same sort of results. Following in DJMag's footsteps. |

It's a fan voted poll. Of course its a popularity contest and highly subjective. |

When any kind of poll includes participants spamming for votes, I'm turned off.
Why doesn't a source objectively create a list based on explained criteria instead of this?
I'd rather read that |

Who would you like to see on the list? I think the list is pretty good and represents some of the most talented people in the game. |

DJ Sprinkles question:
when does he ever play around here?
Can't recall seeing at all, tunnelvision?
Seems to be off-shore mostly.
Despite the bio, Dettmann is well deserved there, as is Klock.
Surprised at only one Romanian, but it's not a bad spot.
Overall, I wouldn't call the result a joke, it's just typical of exposure = results.
Rather than talk about placement, more interested in the no-shows...
Two of my Berlin favorites, Norman Nodge and DeWalta, don't make these lists, but that's not because they don't deserve a spot high up, it's simply the well-known factor.
Not to forget Rrose, another omission IMO (not holding my live list breath either)
And what about D.T.?
At least this doesn't seem to be too US-centric a list, else Zip prob. wouldn't have made it I'd bet.
(RA oughta publish how many voted, and the region break-down, that'd be interesting.
Or do they?)
Oh, funny:
Young Hardwell fan disappointed |

I have no problem with who's No. 1, btw. And I don't even listen to him.
Just thought more than a handful of guys further down the list (wayyyyy down) deserved a bit more respect from the dance community. |
