Rising Russian talent Clameres is a thrilling addition to our imprint. Over the last year, his profound and provocative compositions have been supported on a variety of internationally acclaimed radio shows, including "Cycles Radio" and "Solaris International". On the latest Silk Textures release, he has contributed two wonderful deep-progressive cuts.
The EP kicks off with "Sphere", which features an outer-worldly soundscape and a funky, sub-heavy groove. In the main break, gorgeous pads unite with an ethereal, bell-tinged theme. The B-side, "Weightlessness", offers a bouncy groove and, once again, space-themed atmospheric effects. A variety of alien-like samples in the breakdown suggest that the mother ship has finally reached its destination, and the melodic themes to follow beautifully evoke the cosmos.
