| Looking for advice on this event from the Toronto crew. I've never been to The Gift and I'm trying to make it to Guv one more time for nostalgic reasons. Do you guys think this particular event is worthy of a visit? I've read about The Gift for a long time so I feel I've got a pretty good idea of what it's about. I know it's an incredibly wide range of music, just not 100% clear about aspects like crowd, vibe, number of rooms open, production, and so on. I've also not seen any info about other parties leading up to the closing. The date of The Gift makes it the most easily accessible for me because of time off work, but I don't want to go "just to go". I actually want to have a good time, even though I know the club experience is far from what it used to be. As mentioned in another thread, being right after New Year's could really affect things, too. In any case, I thought some insight from the veterans up there would help a little in the decision making process. Any info/advice would be much appreciated. :gsmile: |

If you're looking to go back to the Guv one last time for nostalgic reasons, there is no better party to go to than The Gift. I've been every year for the past number of years, and it's always such a great time. The last one will be extra memorable. |

do not miss this one. I think it'll still be packed regardless of it's date this year. As great as Digweed was - I will be more happy if this is my last party at the guv. |
