| OASIS 2000 with Tiesto/Oakey was my first real rave party as well. Unfortunately I don't remember much, as it was also the first time I tried a pill(and what a pill that was! pure mdma, haven't seen one of those since then) One of the few things I remember was hearing Zombie Nation(both Tiesto and Oakey played it). I loved that tune at the time and went nuts when I heard it. |

well i can tell u my story about my first rave experience but i prefer telling u my first after hour experience cauz it really meant something TIESTO friday february 23 2000 i think .it was ed up cauz none of my lazy bum ass friends wanted to go so i left my parents house that day from laval at 8 pm to vagabond in the streets but cauz i didnt exactly know where sona was i asked a young guy while getting out of saint laurent metro and he asked me back are u going to tiesto tonight and i replied yah man ofsourse so with a big smile he told me that he was going to INBEAT records to see him spin for an hour heheheh:eyes: :eyes: i was jumping in the street and i couldnt beleive it so i went with him and here i was at the record store checking tiesto putting his first record hehe i felt like a kid (the first time i see a superstar dj )i kept jumping and dancing in the store and i was asked by a french girl if i wanted to see him again at music plus in an hour spinning for BOUGE stupid show but hey as long as it was tiesto spinning what tha helll :crazy: :crazy: i accepted. i got an otograph on a vynil size poster of tiesto with a big inbeat stamp on it saying TIESTO TIESTO TIESTO 9PM LIVE INBEAT RECORDS :toocool: and i also got another small otograph on the booklet that sona had released that month with all the events that they had ... i went to bouge they had an open bar ed up...it was VIRGINI(the host)first show for BOUGE so it was a big in party i danced to some in beats man tiesto was the maaaan he was kicking and burning and woooooff the people were dancing couldnt beleive it we had so much fun with this guy some good dj we drank and laughed and even the next day i saw myslef on tv my friends (from in laval were jealous).well at bouge they gave us a cd with a small envelope with a free entrance ticket to sona (the first time i see i hear that there was tickets to sona cauz as i remember there was never presold tickets for sona)
i went to sona at 2 am after a brewsky at blue dog with the people i met and had the best day of my entire year i cant say the best night of my life cauz it was just the beginning of after hours and stuff i saw better times with my friends here in montreal . tiesto played all the nice beats that we wanted to hear from him not gonna give the track list cauz we all know what he played two years ago as a conclusion this town is on fire thanx for reading my story :haha: PEAACEE |
