Yes, you've heard, Outsource need you to complete their album.
We are currently working on an unnamed track which is crying out for vocals. This is where you step in.
We are looking for a singer/songwriter to create lyrics and sing them for use on our track. The winning entry will get full credit on the track listings for their input, and will also recieve a free copy of "12 Hours" on release day.
As this is hopefully going to turn into a competition, we would like to lay down some rules:
1) We would prefer laid back vocals. Not that heavy vocals are bad - it's just that they won't fit with this track.
2) All entries must be submitted by the 31st October at the latest. The earlier you send them in, the better - we have more time to try the vocals out that way.
3) The track is expected to be around 6 minutes in length, so don't send in lyrics to rival War and Peace in length, as we would end up having to cut loads of text/vocals out.
4) The decision of Outsource (ie, Kier and I) is final. We don't accept bribes unless they are in a non-descript briefcase in £5, £10 or £20 notes. Or a holiday to the Caribbean.
So, we hope that this competition is a big success - get cracking on those lyrics!!
