| How do you drag part of a clip from arrangement to get it to stay looped on that part in session view? |

| Never use session view, have you doubled clicked on the loop to open up the editor at the bottom to make sure the loop button is enabled? You may have to consolidate the part you want if its not the full clip you're after. |

Drag over that part (so it's selected/highlighted) › click + drag it out › press tab?
I think if you select the part you want and press Ctrl/CMD + E, it'll split it too.
Then drag it to Session.
Something like that. My Ableton-fu is rusty too :) |

| You know what, I think what I am asking for is impossible for Ableton to do it automatically. I think you just have adjust the clips manually. Ugh. *lazy face* |
