After his incredible April debut, the Diynamic head honcho SOLOMUN returns to Marquee for another stellar night of his mesmerizing sounds. Solomun has become one of the world's most in-demand and respected DJs and producers, and we can't wait to have him back on the decks on Friday January 9th. Joining him on the decks are Basic's reisdents and Marquee curators SLEEPY & BOO, ready to set this one off with their first set of the new year.

that's more about the whole cityfox experience itself.
but marquee has one of the best sound systems in the city and im excited to hear how he is with a longer set. |

That will be the last time I go to Marquee. That place is just such a sh*tshow every time I've been there. I can deal with the overpriced drinks even for NYC standards, but the lack of decency and movable room is just too much. Its been a while since I had been there, so when in the hell did they add an extra 3 or 4 tables to the back of the dancefloor? The floor wasn't huge as it is and they now have decided to go the money hungry route and stick another 4 tables in that space?! Eats up what was the back 15 feet of the dancefloor. Roped off with foot room as well! Done with it. Not worth it. A shame too because I really think they bring in a lot of talent.
Musically Solomun was awesome. Think he was a bit more subdued than his set from Cityfox, but that could just be chalked up to my pessimistic mood last night. |
