Désolé, pas de review de ma part cette fois-ci..

Je suis parti de ma job à 2:45 AM, et je ne sais pas pourquoi, mais j'ai été malade comme ça, instantanément, sans aucune estie de raison...

mais je me suis tout de même rendu au Aria, je me sentais courageux, pour me rendre compte que le line-up était obligatoire, à cause des 1000 quelques billets de vendus en pré-vente.. so I was alone (was going there alone, crossing my fingers to see some of you there), under the rain.. after 20 minutes, I had like.. 1/3 done, 2/3 to go.. i was so pissed off (and because I was feeling that my mysterious sickness was not gone..), so I decided that I had enough for today.. I sold my ticket and came back to home..

I wish you a great party TAs, and a better shape then mine, because I'm sick as hell, and I still don't know why...

taha: ce dont je t'avais causé sur MSN, t'inquiètes, j'les garde pour la prochaine fois ;)

Well it was a very interesting night, got there intime to see the last half of Fortier set which was beautiful, the sound system was perfect for Fortier, crystal clear!

Then Sasha came on, and started it off mellow, sort of felt like a sardine for a while, until after about an hour into his set he brought on some crazy electro tracks, that just made the whole crowd go crazy! Amazing time from then on! But left a little early because the body gave up on me.

Cheers

I think the new mixer is a xone 62-64, one step up from the ALLEN & HEATH mixer Sasha and diggers were using on the delta heavy if im not mistaken.

Off to bed with a little dose of Sasha gu in San fran

Wow! i thought that was a pretty amazing show! loved it all, but the second half certainly had me moving a bit more.
This was my first show that hasn't been pure trance and i must say, i really liked it!
it is great to see a 6 hour set that really builds up from pretty slow to pretty heavy towards the end, really nice progression and flow.
did anyone happen to notice a piece of equipment towards the other side of the dj booth counting up? were they taping the show???
well, great show, props to aria for being so amazing and keeping everything running so smoothly even with such a large amount of people there, it really is so luck for us that we have such a great club just around the corner!!

OK...I am kicking myself in the ass cuz i left at 9:40....only 4 hours 40 min into Sasha's set....so i missed a whole lot of good stuff....i had to make sure i wasn't gonna get a ticket on my car...oh well....i suck

ok...my review is as follows:

Sounds System: just wanna say that the Aria sound system is incredible.....amazing.....truly hype.....it was put to the test last night and passed with flying colors...man...that bass is kick-ass....am I the only one who loves it when your rib cage vibrates?

crowd: very busy night....at capacity....prolly about 500-700 LESS than at Oaky, so there was still room to move....and a little bit to dance....as long as you didn't mind sharing your personal space withh one of the large number of hotties there...where did they all come from? who cares i guess.....and to the hottie that made my night complete....you know who you are....i want to say THANK YOU....i am still thinking about you:eyes:

and to the young lady that taught me how to roll a joint....thanks a million....now if i actually used drugs, that might be more useful, but one can never be sure when such knowledge will be useful.

music: got in at 2:30 (so 1 hour into Fortiers set)...was that set amazing of what?....best music of the night....i am so happy i went there to see him. I dont know the names of anything he played..all i know is that it was wicked

Sasha came on at 5:00 and started his set off kinda slow IMO....when compared to how Fortier ended his.....but by the time 7:30 or so came around....he was slammin the tracks down....actually...he was doing a great job earlier than that even....but i really started feelin the music at that point...i dont know the names of too many tracks.....but here are a couple that i could recognize

James Holden - Nothing (Mix 2)
Futureshock - Frequency
Sasha & James Holden - Bloodlock
wavy gravy
airdrawndagger

there were many others i had heard before...but i dont have names for them...if i remember them, i will post them

overall...I had an amazinng night...9/10......would have been 10/10 if i had seen more TA's over there

and to ALEC....you are a great guy to party with....if you didn't come, the night would not have been the same....actually...i would not have even gone !!!

and to Malek....nice seeing you there....seeing you made me feel at home in the club....thanks

anyways...i have written too much

PEACE

just wanna say the night was unbeleivable i arrived there at the second hour of chris fortier set we was slamming some ed up beats and he was enjoying it pretty much .then the man himslef Sasha took the club under his Spell and started his set with a nice intro just to make us feel that sasha was in the house .....
the SET started with Great beats Sasha style im dissapointed from what i heard by malek cauz the crowd was kicking ass everybody was dancing their ass off including me i couldnt stop .then the time stoped and we felt a wave of silence in the air for a fraction of a second and &*^%$(*#$@ wavy gravy filthy dirty ......beats hit us in the right spot to lift us out of this ing world and there sasha started to play with us like marionets man he kept on hitting and hitting and hitting till we couldnt belive it (starting 7:30 to the end of the set)Sasha was on fire he had his glass filled with champagne all the time and he kept on taking a few quick peaks at the crowd from time to time like if he was examining the situation if we could have handled more and more.we were melting on the dance floor all right but he kept on burning and burning ........WHERE DOES THIS GUY GET THIS TOUCH SIMPLY GENIUS we hear a lot of dj and sets but if we hear a set but sasha or digweed they have a signature style ..... what tha....yesterday night my friends and I thought what tha hell would have happened if he had played Heaven scent and i simply said to my self that the walls would have fell and the place would have crumbled in ashes and the people would have went mentally insane cauz Sasha delivered THE best SET i have ever witnessed in my entire four years of clubbing .........PEACE....BY the way good crowd where did these women come from i danced like with a few grils that brought a few friends with them and at one time i was dancing with five women at the same time it is like if they were falling out of the sky as a gift from santa claussssss...

Morsy, thanks so much for making me want to kill myself for not driving down for this. The only other time a DJ made me completely unable to describe his music (I wish I had thought of ^#$&&)@@$#, very descriptive :)) was Steve Lawler at Kool Haus last May.

Oh my God, a SIX hour set by the Master at an awesome club with an awesome crowd and I missed it. I'm not worthy of being a TA.

Trance Plant, thanks for the info in the Roll call thread.

Ahlamalek, there's progressive, and then there's progressive. I ironically find the opposite, that I love dancing to good prog but prefer listening to trance. From Morsy's description, Sasha would have made me go nuts and probably get thrown out of the club for dancing like an alien.

If you'll all excuse me, I think I'll go drown myself in a lake now.
morsy
Hey dude DOOOOONT heheehe well i really cant explain what tha... happened the music is ....no coment i simply cant explain it cauz i had never experienced something like that SIMPLY GENIUS
When sasha and digweed came to Sona they kicked our asses.BUT friday Sasha ALONE is something else man he had the whole booth for himself and he was FREE to do what ever he wanted to do to us and i beleive he wanted to destroy us .I missed digweed ALONE @Stereo MOntreal cauz i was in egypt and i wanted to drown myslef .BUT SURPRISEEEEEEE MORSY MORSY MORSYYYYY DIGWEEEEEED IS COMING TO TORONTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hehehe november 29 my friend :tongue3
