DANNY HENRY
Involvement with House music started in the 80s, while driving home in a car load of pepole at 6:00am after a Late nite at the Twilight Zone and earlier at the Cameron House on Queen St. While taken in some Malik X and P Lopez Danny Henry a.k.a 'Discodan' decided to start playing the music he loved listening to called House. In the late 80s Danny Henry was involved in the birth of the Rave scene in Toronto,Canada. He began Djing with such Rave groups as Exodus, and Better Days Productions, just to name a few. Danny's taste for music was being shaped by alot of early British Progresive House in 1989, like SLAM, SOMA, 3beat and numerous other labels he digged playing. For 2 decads in Toronto and Monteral (Sonar), Boston (Carpi Dem), Washington (Independance ) Detriot and other. Danny Henry's debut unto the vinyl scene began with his Production for Legion of Green Men,(disco dan remixes) . He also has collaborated with Dale Charles (Boston beat) , Dj Shine, Dj Dov (Down On Vinly) to create remixes for various artists. Danny influences are Derick Carter, Dj Sasha, Jason and Terry (Slam), Andy Carol (3 beat) jaga jazzist (ninja tune) Expect to feel the music and to sweet it out of your poor's at at Toronto Legends event Old School. a.k.a Disco Dan |
