It always surprises me how that track's so popular. The bass is weaker than a Dolly Parton record and the clucky robot chicken synth is as annoying as the Crazy Frog.

I'm guessing you're really young, and weren't around when that track first landed. At the time, it was a pretty new sound for a lead line, and it absolutely decimated dancefloors. The only reason people crap on it now is because it got too huge, and you could hear it everywhere; us oldsters remember hearing it on the dancefloor the first time, and it was magic.

Back to the thread topic, I'd put up the lead from 1998. It was afaik the first time that what were basically pads became a lead; you can draw a pretty straight line from 1998 to Airwave.
