ps2 has that bmx xxx game comming out though, which I think is gonna be pretty good :D
And auto modelista is amazing, I dont know what ur talking about (to whoever said it is bad).
fully customizable cars.. body kits, decals, everything, and then you add online racing to that! it destroys. but we'll really see when it comes out. on november 1st i think?
and if you like realistic racing games better, you always have gt3, which is BY FAR the best racing game ever created. |

gt3 was the reason that made me consider buying a PS2... it's the best racing game I've ever played... |

| well xbox does have 4 controller slots, halo, and a ton of good games coming out soon, it also has Sega GT 2002, never played it but heard it was really fun.....but yea it has a hardrive so you can put songs and all that on it too, halo 2 is coming out soon |

| Xbox... for all the reasons stated in this thread already. PLUS, they have a new bundle package out for the same price of $199 that comes with Jet Set Radio Futere and Sega GT 2002. The bundle also replaces the old bulky controller with the new Controller S. |

| Nah, Auto Modelista is crap. I thought it was gonna be amazing, and the graphics are, but it plays like a pig. Buy Burnout 2 instead. |

now I agree that its just a matter of taste( as some1 said).
Depends on the games I prefer... Since I prefer racing and fighting games, PS2 sounds better, so far... |

don´t ask ppl which is the better system
they will all say that the system they own is the best, if it is a ps2, xbox ngc, or whatever...
best advise I can give you is go out and test some games.
i´m sure some of your friends own either systems...and if not go to a local EB and test it there.
I think you will be satisfied no matter which console you get, both have great games...
p.s. I own an xbox and i´m completly satisfied with it :) |

well, u just answered your own q then.
PS2 has the best racers and fighters...Xbox has Dead or Alive 3 (trust me, you'll get bored of it real fast) and Sega GT 2002, and to that all I gotta say is Gran Turismo 3 |

| Playstation 2's graphics aren't quite as good as xBrick's but I think that it's worth getting a PS2 just because the quality of the games is a lot better. Final Fantasy 10, Gran Turismo 3, Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, etc.. they're all awesome. I have a PS2 and I wouldn't trade it for an xBrick ever. |
