E or ecstacy used to mean pure MDMA but now refers to meth mixed with mdma or just straight meth, which is probably why people aren't calling that anymore when wanting MDMA and instead call it molly, as dumb as that may sound. Just my opinion.

I saw Sasha last year and he was boring. Set wasn't going anywhere and it was filled with boring tech tracks and not even at least the melodic stuff you guys are referring to, which woulda been better. Probably the worst set I've heard from him live. I haven't heard many good sets from him lately in fact, but I did like his Ushauia Rooftop season closing set from 2013. He used to be so awesome, he was the first DJ to get me in this underground scene and learned about the art of progressing a mix from his sets, so I'll always remember him from that but it seems as if he's a shell of his former self now and is only getting crowds to come out to his sets because of the legendary status his name holds.

Sasha played one hell of a set at BPM last night.

MUCH better than the two times I saw him in '14.

He did play a lot of Drumcode material, which I know people on here will scoff at.

Oh well.

To take the topic off on another tangent, I was listening through some of Drumcode's recent releases the other day and they really aren't as bad as people make out. Yes there's lots of by-the-book big room techno but they do actually put out some really nice tunes. I'm a big fan of this, for example:

Last time I saw him he kicked it off with this:

timmo canvas is fantastic ! when i play more melodic stuff i always drop it in. i don't think drumcode is pure crap, simply just not really techno. i always like what alan produces
