The kids are just out partying and having fun, who gives a damn? Do you always take yourself seriously when you party? It could also be another variation of idol worship, but instead of groveling at the feet, they get caked in the mug. :gsmile: But Aoki also gets caked, so it's all good, I guess.
Your analogy, however, is ridiculous, immature and hypocritical. I'm sure there are far more guys "bragging" about how much they get, rather than the other way around. |

Relax, of course guys brag about how many females they have slept with too.
The only similarities that is both common in this whole caking fiasco at Steve Aoki parties and women bragging about how many men they've slept with only has one similarity. It's the fact that you didn't see this back then at raves. Maybe at top 40 clubs, bars, or some sort of Weird Al Yankovich concert people would cake each other and throw stuff. but you never saw it at electronic music concert, not as far as I am concerned.
so the similarity with the analogy with the females I made was that also back then females didn't brag about that stuff. that only became more commonly accepted as feminism progressed in this country and around the world.
While I do enjoy having fun at a club, I could understand acting stupid and having a fun giggle about it if I was drunk. but caking and all that other crap would definitely destroy my mood (and probably most of you guys's too) if this caking fiasco manifested in our precense.
I dunno, if I saw that in real life I would just ignore it and continue doing something else. |
