The OP did suggest that other members can suggest 1 or 2 mixes of their own making (as long as they were in the style of the example he posted) |

Yes, I think it is alright to suggest a handful of your own, so long as it is genuinely a favorite and not just promoting the latest mix. I do hope though people will also suggest other peoples mixes.
I am going to listen to as many of the suggestions as I can. Not necessarily immediately but over the next few months. |

Hey folks,
Been a while since I popped back.
I guess I will have to band wagon and promote my own .
I used to enjoy when DJs used to play long developing sets so threw one together a while back. Back in a time when they were not obsessed with promoting their label and own productions. To be honest I think I have at least one mash up in there but I given that there are nearly 60 tracks in there I figured no one would notice.
It's a 5 hour session which is a tribute to the Ibiza scene when it was at its peak.
Of course it may just put you to sleep, and I found that the amount of time was detrimental to obtaining listeners but I actually really enjoyed recording it. It's also done in one take.

Juan, I think this is more along the lines of a promo mix type set. I have in mind this thread being more for sets that really stand out, as in your favorite mix you have done or a great memorable set from another TA member. |
