Rank 1 - 7 Instead of 8 Not Actually 7/8 Time Signature?

| Been learning a bit of music theory, and I realized Rank 1 - 7 Instead of 8 isn't actually in a 7/8 time signature...It's still 4/4. Am I missing something here? |

Guess I can't trust Wikipedia :p
There are also other multiple blogs that say it's 7/8 and some FB posts about it...Why are people saying this? Any one have some input? |

| Sounds to me like the melody is 7 bars long, but I'm listening on a phone. |

I really don't think most people will care enough about such a track to give you an answer, but curiosity got the better of me. The signature is 4/4 but it also sounds to me like the melody is looping over 7 bars.
If you want examples of 7 beat time signatures listen to Pink Floyd's 'Money' or Shpongle's 'Electroplasm'. |
