Jesus it brings back memories posting (many times) in here. All those projects , lost now forever. My computer suffered a catastrophic failure and died , not even removing the hard drive and using a dock could save everything. So I set myself a new challenge and bought a new computer and re downloaded my DAW and had nothing but a blank canvas. I have took a new turn and decided to use nothing but free VST's and samples. Im not skint but I felt too reliant on Nexus and looking at the rest of the EDM world , so does a lot of other people. So Ive download several excellent Modular , Fm and sub synths direct from the developers website and got to work. The workload has increased obviously but what a difference.
My favourite free VSt's I have are definitely Trancedrive and Serenity. Both free synths that blow away anything i've used before.
So after quite a while and a back story , I have a new track.
Its more experimental for me rather than musically sound. But im impressed with my new method of working and would like to share it....
