I did some research on that "war-saw" tune. The audio that Shazam pulls up is indeed the record we are looking for! Unfortunately the artist name and track name pretty much lead to a dead end. This one is really confusing, but here's what I found. It's cataloged as part of this site's musical content: http://www.licensemusic.com
If you search in the following pdf for "war-saw", you'll find that the two war-saw tunes are listed as being by an artist named "Dj Maddog": http://www.licensemusic.com/Downloa...ge_ChillOut.pdf

I have a feeling the artist and track names aren't the true original names for this record, that they may have been retitled to suit the licensing company. |

I think there is no mystery about the War-saw track , by searching i found that it was released in two versions and two compilations , here you can listen the samples :

For me , the version played by Oakenfold is the first (original) .
About the Amphetamine unknown remix , in my opinion its an unreleased mix made by Man With No Name , the kick and the sounds are pretty similar to his style , also Oakey played a lot of his stuff at that times . Another little detail , the track is followed by a MWNN mix of Greece 2000 . We really need to contact MWNN (Martin Freeland) , i cant see him on facebook . |
