Fantastic set is fantastic; I've nothing more to say, except make some more like this (so many amazing tracks) and best of luck with the marathon! And come down to London for something, when you get a chance!

Really enjoyed this, Jack... I've never heard Brainbow in a mix before so it was interesting to see how you worked it in... the middle and end portions brought back a lot of memories, with some songs I haven't heard before thrown in. "My Release" was when everything with the mix clicked. Everything sounds very polished and things flowed really well.

Ah, the warm glow of praise. Thank you, chums.

It was nice to be able to squeeze Brainbow in. Of all the tracks on Earth Shine it's the only one I've really been able to mix up. It has the perfect "spacey cruising" vibe I wanted for the opening section of this mix.
Innocence Lost
Good mix.

, we are old!

Good set here though. Exquisite track selection and the flow itself is fitting to what you were aiming for.

It feels so cool driving to this.

Thanks for the share.

Really enjoyed this one. The mix from Wide Eyed Angel into Release is audio sex.

Cheers guys.

So the race was today and it turns out I could not have planned this mix more perfectly. The final section of the race was all uphill in the centre of the city, and as I was running through a tunnel of cheering people towards the finish line the breakdown of Tilt - I Dream reached its crescendo and dropped. Felt ing epic sprinting across the finish line to that.

You make it sound like you were surprised by your timing. Given your previous mixes I'm not!
SYSTEM-J
I don't usually make mixes as soundtracks to events that haven't yet happened. At first I thought I'd run the distance too slow, which is why I threw in the J00F remix of Everyday right at the end. Then in training I ran much faster, so I finished just as I Dream is winding up. On the actual day I pressed play before I'd crossed the Start line, because there's always the huge crowd at the start where you don't yet have space to actually run, and ultimately the mix synched perfectly with the distance. Result!

There was another great moment of synchronicity much earlier. About halfway through the route cut through some suburban streets with leafy gardens, and at one corner there was a cherry tree with pink blossoms drifting across the track and lit up by the sunshine as the wind carried them. I ran through them while the floaty melody of Wide Eyed Angel was playing. Lush.
