we need a section where new releases are updated regularly so people without the "radio exposure" can hear about the new stuff comming out. It could be like in the forums and the user just posts a thread with the name in this format "[genre] artist - track name (remix)"
or something of the sort.. we could vote on how much we like the song, etc... i dunno, i just want **SOMETHING** to expose me to new stuff more often aside from looking in people's sigs and just in the MD forum.... puhleaze!

also, an old classics section would be nice so newbies (i was one once so i wanna hear before 97-98 stuff that i dotn have) can get a hold of the good from back-in-the-day.

about the classics, maybe you could make a thread in there and ask a mod to make it sticky... |

Yes, lol, that would be the forum to discuss new releases, but it's also done in music discussion forum, just check out the many many 'what u listening to now' or 'your top 10' threads and they are littered with new tunes.
as for classic tracks, are u wanting them to be downloadable ? cos that's the impression i get from your post SmellsExcellent.
in music discussion forum right now there is a 'history of trance' thread which is growing and growing listing many great tracks.

I dont really care if anyhing is downloadbale, i just want to be able to access an updated list of new releases without having to dig through signatures and top 10 threads...Even a forum that you can start threads but no replies are allowesd so you can just scroll down and se whats up..
