seaman rocked...OWNED...he made everyone in attendance his personal bitch.
Howells vs. Seaman......I've heard Howell's NuBreed, and I must say that its quite good...but not better than Seaman, especially not better than his show at Kool Haus. Plus, U shouldn't compare prog dj's, specially the ones tied in with GU, cuz they're all amazing in their own right. It comes down to which DJ does it for you...
But I can't stress this enough: Next time Seaman is here, GO SEE HIM!! |

yep...no offence to Corsten, but he's got nothing on Seaman. And we're definately hitting it up when Seaman is here again, or I'm gonna be kicking someone's ass as well...:whip: :whip: :) And we're definately dragging MG and Blue Neon out for him...no excuses (well, almost none) |

| Dave Seaman was better when he was not full blown prog house......back in 1999-2000 when he played some prog trance, some prog house. Same with Nick Warren, great dj fallen into the boring prog house deadland. |

| I also reminisce about that party, but Corsten is the man that puts a smile on my face when I think back, not Seaman. Corsten's set was so awe inspiring that I could not care to leave, for anything different would just be a step down. |

how can you compare them? they are not even the same genre of music!
i love dave seaman but i skipped his set in NY to see sander - and it's a good thing cause he overslept and missed his flight so he didn't even play here last week! |

boring prog house? You haven't seen Dave Seaman have you? His set had more energy than Sander K's in August... |

I find being a huge progressive house fan, that the DJs will spin more upbeat, high energy set when you see them live. Dave Seaman and Danny Howells are both amazing DJs live but do have some rather boring compilations out. For those that havent heard Seamans GU - Buenos Aries (spelling?) that is my personal fav from him. And Danny Howells - Tel Aviv will get you moving (especially part two) Good Djs will spin in a way that reflects what the crowd wants. And Dave Seaman did just that.

obviously Seaman has more energy in his sets, you can tell write away he you here his GU's ;) Sander is a all round house dj. Seaman puts on everything from progressive house, to ambient, to breaks :D
ShAwZy, i think that none of Seaman's complication are boring. i agree his first GU is the best, classic deep trance in there :) i have his Renaissance complication from last year, and its a sweeetly progressive house CD, check it out :) |
