Oh yeah, and Digweed destroyed Treehouse. Awesome venue, so well ventilated!
Also loving all the acid we heard throughout the week. Everyone was playing a few.
Love Treehouse and I Love Love Love the Diggers night but well ventilated? It was a total sweatbox!!
My crew and I thought that Diggers belonged at something like Trade Room 2 or the Space Terrace. Treehouse was absolutely rammed, with tons of jackasses just barreling through folks.

Yup, when I first got there I was really ing irritable and def noticed all the pushy heads...but our group got a sweet spot near the back door and had plenty of room all night.
There was a/c blasting from the ceiling there all night, prob why I thought it was well ventilated? I am a sweat bag and am used to WAY more poorly ventilated clubs than that.
Also Trade? that, the sound was so ing horrendous there, although that was probably jut Maceo Plex blowing it again.
Oh, and I need to rip on Danny Daze at Last Resort as well. When he got on after Catz n Dogz for whatever reason the sound was way down...we had thought perhaps they were asked to turn it down by cops or something? Nope. Sound guy walks up, turns up the master volume and looks at Danny Daze like "Wtf you retard". And his set was ing awful, too.

Sasha on the boat was an embarrassment as well. We even had to pick his ass up from the wrong dock (location changed, he obvs didn't get the memo). Thank god for the open bar and great weather.
Danny Krivit at the Salted party was up there with Digweed for me though. That party was off the hook with great vibes.
What a week of differences, being exposed to such polar opposites in terms of DJ professionalism.
I know the Crew Love party would have been way more up there too, if I didn't ing leave for the ty Maeve/Ellum party. Loved every minute of it right up until we left. Stupid stupid mistake. Oh well. :/

I was severely disappointed by Mano both times as well, so much cool guy posturing for someone who wasn't really bringing it, just plodding generic crap imo. I always enjoy his mixed sets, hence the disappointment. The whole Last Resort party was quite underwhelming, in fact. Dixon and Thuger were the best of the day, along with MJC and Ben UFO. Sucks that we had to sit through so many bad sets to get the handful of really great ones.
Hmmmm, let me try to put this as respectfully as possible...
You are out of your goddamned mind! LOL. Judging by your many posts it appears you may have been at the wrong party. Don't go to see Mano and Dixon and expect them to play 128bpm bombs for hours on end. They both played extremely trippy and hypnotic sets with splashes of banging techno which is what is so great about them. Their music creates a vibe and not just for the basic fanboy that wants nothing but fist pumping bass. I wasn't crazy about Maceo's set but after Mano and Dixon I didn't really expect to, they're more my cup of tea.
Perhaps you would have enjoyed Drumcode better...

Uh, I didn't expect that and I am not into "fist pumping bass" lol.
I love Dixon and thought he killed it, as usual. But Mano le Tough was extremely underwhelming, and Maceo played so much of the same music he already played two nights before, which is pretty ing lame (I have seen both of them live before, btw). Not to mention the fact that neither of them (NOT Dixon) were playing that sound system properly. You shouldn't have to stand right in the middle to enjoy all the warmth and depth of that bass.

Unfortunately I didn't make it to Trade this last weekend but the sound is usually on ing point. In fact it's my 2nd favorite club in all of Miami (besides Space). Maybe the sound guy was drunk that night or something. I consider Trade to be absolute world class in terms of sound, vibe, ventilation, and layout.

Agreed on the other stuff, I really liked the club in those respects. But the sound was most definitely heavily distorted all night long.

I know what you mean exactly haha! I had that same spot for Drumcode couple years ago and that party was totally rammed too. Perched up on the seating against the back wall by the exit. It was so cold with the AC pumping but better than sweating it out. Great view of all the action from there too. Killer spot.

Cpl vids I posted in the wmc thread that is dead. Kinks opening was great!!!!!!! Crew love was great once the rain let up.

Sorry to hear lots of sets sucked. Well I could have told you Maceo and Daze were going to suck from the beginning lol.
Best sets in order from best best starting first.
1. Petre Inspirescu from Arpiar at the Next Wave party at Trade. Wow this guy is a master on the decks.
2. Francesco Del Garda opening up for Petre
3. Apollonia at Circoloco, wow these guys shredded it so hard and I saw them at Trade on Tuesday. They absolutely killed it way harder at Circoloco at Mana.
4. Bill Patrick at Tini and the Gang
5. Tini at Tini and the Gang at Trade
6. Luciano at Trade on Wednesday night was also mental. Seeing him in a small club like that and he ripped it a new one.
So basically the Tini and the gang party meets Next Wave at Trade on Thursday was a bombtastic party!

I've seen the Crew Love crew (lol) so many times and every single time they bring it. Ugh god whyyyyy did I leave that party on Friday night???
How long/when did it rain again? I left after midnight/before 1am and it wasn't really doing much more than occasional spitting.
Soul Clap are gonna be in Toronto on the 11th actually. It will be awesome but clearly will not compare to hearing them outside in a way sicker venue AND with all the other acts.
This is my third time I went to a party with No Regular Play on the lineup and ing missed them. .

soul clap playing in the day time is as good as it gets. Those crew love guys know how to party. They play that chill crazy music that you don't hear any where else, but than they can also throw down like tanner did at crew love. After 1ish it just about stopped raining and it started getting pretty thick. The music changed to the harder stuff. I was there until 4 or so, another great party. I ran into tanner at get lost as well. I guess he was chillin with soul clap.
Best part of get lost was how everybody was just walking around and mingling.
