Famous People...... (pg. 2)

I actually know a lot of celebrities and some I would consider close friends. I really don't understand why people think they are so different or some other species. The ones who are really successful actually don't like the fame; it's a by product and in some cases a tool reluctantly have to use to get, secure and maintain work. Sure, cry me a river etc, but honestly, when you're out with some and see how paparazzi hound them it's pretty disgusting.

The worst are the D-list (see Eric's list for more info :p , just kidding there's a few legit on there). All the entitlement with none of the talent. That doesn't include the younger ones just making their way, they're usually just trying to figure it all out and I suppose you get a pass for that - it's the 35+ year old ones that have not really made it that are the worst.

How dare you call the Living Legend Larry Zbysko a D list celeb!

I met Ricky from Trailer Park Boys. Not sure if he's considered a celebrity anywhere outside of Canada. Or in Canada for that matter...

Nice guy.

We crashed a Planet Hollywood opening once by pretending to deliver ice.

Met many. Arnold...dick. Sly...Dick. Bruce Willis, Champion.

I've met quite a few others, but really it wasn't anything special. If you are talking sports stars or music acts, also quite a few...but they don't count as it was through work.

Meeting Eminem backstage for his first concert in 3 years was funny. He was so ed out of his mind on painkillers that he could barely stand up. During his performance, he forgot the words to half of his songs.

I've met a few major UK comedians and TV presenters. Jimeoin, Bill Bailey, Bob Franklin, Karl Stefanovic, Timmy Mallett and (ugh) Ray Martin.

I also got to meet Roald Dahl when I was a kid, although I didn't realise who he was at the time.

I met Roald Dahl too! I met a few of my favourite authors as a kid...I always got picked to attend writing and illustrating workshops with them. :)

I also stumbled upon Tom Morillo from AudioSlave in SXSW almost 10 years ago today! Lol
