I don't know. For some reason, they remind me of each other because they both had their own distinct sound and helped catapult the uplifting trance era with their batch of productions and remixes.

They both remind me of eachother.
Bot produced quality uplifting stuff during the era of epic trance.

Lange, Matt Darey, Signum, Transa, Ferry Corsten and many more. They have their own signature sound, quality AND quantity. It just never felt the same again, those where the days

Matt Darey's latest stuff is just like the rest of them following the herd mentality by just playing boring deep house stuff. His productions are really boring. I much prefer his trance days.

Lange is the same the guy complains about the scene and then does the same thing by copying deadmau5/big room/trouse sound

Word. I'm kinda leaning towards Darey as well.

interesting. to be honest, I'm not sure what they're up to these days but they were both instrumental as solo trance artists back in the day kind of like Airwave and Mike. I almost confused Firewall for a Matt Darey alias back in the day. I don't think they ever remixed each other or collaborated for that matter.

I'm a big fan of Darey's older stuff. If I had to make an all time top 100, these would most likely make the list.

My favourite Matt Darey remixes are Moloko - The Time is now and Space Brothers - Legacy

Ferry's remix of Darey's Liberation is in my top 10 ten of favorites list (close to Gamemaster and Point Zero).

I do prefer Lange for his remixes though:
