Do software programs like Cubase and stuff allow you to mix songs you already have on your PC? Just curious.
DJ_Shockwav
it's possible, they do have pitch control plugins
but for mixing progs try traktor, virtual turntables, or i think mixmeister has been recommended in the past

So with those I can create my own sets on my PC?
mantisnl
if u know how 2 do it, yes:p
EbolaCola
Cool, /me puts those on his Christmas list.
DJ_Shockwav
yea, most of those "mixed" cds out there are actually done in a studio with pro tools or something similar

you can also compose it. If you use Sonic Foundry Soundforge, you can make tracks the same BPM as other stuff. You then layer the tracks on top of each other and adjust the frequency for the tracks and voila you have your mixed track.

so as you can see, Soundforge is a GUI trackbased editor :)
DJ LIQUID
try using ACID

you will be able to match easily :)
