Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site.
May we have a backlog of how many of these have been requested by GOV officials?
This is actually more interesting and more plausible:

Be happy to know that I had to deal with a lot of stupid legal threats in order to keep this place as open as possible ...even when people were upset with the content of postings.
Here is one such reply from ages ago:

Hi xxxxxxxxxx,
Let me clarify this situation for you.
It looks like someone on the forums linked to a photo on your server, others then took this photo and did some modifications
to it and uploaded/hosted them on various sites such as photobucket.com and **************.
Privacy laws restrict our giving out any information without proper court documents. I can empathize with your situation,
however, we are under no legal obligation to remove any posts or threads solely because someone is offended by their content
(or the content they link to). It is just the same as someone saying something bad about you on AOL, Myspace, or any other
on-line entity that allows others to post commentary online - it's not up to the provider to take down content simply because
somebody is offended by it - they are not the ones behind the posts referencing you.
I'll explain the legal process:
1) Person A says/posts something about you on Tranceaddict
2) You read it and want to both verify who Person A is and remove the posts from Tranceaddict
3) You Contact Tranceaddict regarding (2) but we tell you we can't do anything without a court order
4) You have to put out a Request for Discovery to Tranceaddict with regards to Person A
5) Tranceaddict then attempts to contact Person A by posting a notice on the forum and emailing the registered e-mail address
under their account regarding this legal action being sought against them.
The reason for this being that if Person A does not want to be identified because he feels what he/she said/posted was not
defamatory in nature then the court will not allow their information to be released. There will of course be some proceedings
to determine this - but - Person A never has to attend - only their legal counsel.
If the court does find their comments to have a possible libelous/defamatory nature they will have Tranceaddict provide the
requested information to the court
6) Case goes to trial to determine if perceived slander has any truth to it - Tranceaddict (in good faith or by court order)
temporarily takes down all posts by Person A. Depending upon the outcome of the trial, these posts will either be removed
forever or put back (if no slander/defamation is proven).
I'd recommend you contact photobucket and imageshack and see what they say - since they are the source of the images, not
Tranceaddict.
Also, it's almost impossible to prevent any image that is up on the web from being posted elsewhere - however - you can make
it more difficult by preventing image hot-linking from 3rd party sites by contacting your webhost - they'll configure the
webserver with parameters for your site that reject "foreign referrers" - which basically restricts images to only being shown
if loaded from your web address(es).

Kudos to the first poster, lololol I need one of those!!
All I got is my physics education and years studying non abelian monopoles and topological insulators.
I've uploaded a sighting from today Sunday 26th at 5:30 pm PT. At first, it appeared as a triangular black or stealthy object, but then its Toroidal shape becomes evident as it thrusted towards me! I couldn't get a clear shot because the sun was in my face. You can see the black dot, as it hovers to the right and forward.
You will also notice that a white bright orb dashes through the screen faster than sound around sec 14-18.
