I know flosstradamus is on this list.. can you guys think of any other examples of replica tracks that claim to be original whereas the "new" producer is profiting from a classic or otherwise original track from the past?
Lagrangian

this is destined to get me in trouble but personally.. I don't think its right for someone to just outright copy a melody, steal vocals, slap their name on it.. and call it an original mix.. I mean these people need to be called out..
Sunbeam wrote Outside World.. Just like Energy 52 wrote Cafe Del Mar.. Is it right that Twoloud and Oakenfold slapped their name on it and called an original?
Absolutely not...
They're remixes.. They should be titled as such.. and credit should be given to the tracks rightful owners..
srsly

Well, question is if the original was the original. One of my favorite tracks also borrowed the melody without giving credits to the original:
So why suddenly act differently one could ask?

99.9% sure that Oakenfold paid a decent amount of money to all the people who wrote the songs he remixed for Trance Mission.
He was also extremely up front about the fact that they are not originals.
The real crime, however, is just how bad they all are :(
