hey i was wondering if there is some sort of program available to download that increases the tempo/BPMs whatever you wanna call it of an mp3 downloaded.. of course id also want to save it as an mp3 again if it is possible...because some songs obviously sound better with higher BPMs as seen in a lot of livesets :)

My suggestion is use Traktor and pitch the tracks faster/slower, recored it and then just covert them back to mp3 after. It's easy to do if you have the software.

i just did a search of 'traktor' in kazaa lite under programs and it popped up. i couldnt find a website or download site for it elsewhere

i'm not sure about saving it, but there's a plugin for winamp that'll change tempo. its called the chronotron plugin or something... www.gmixon.com

i just checked the site... its down... i'm sure you can find it somewhere else.

www.winamp.com has tons of plugins.. i'm sure one of them will do the trick. using a bpm plugin seems easier than permanently altering the mp3. peace....
