standard price, in case anyone who doesn't go to many camping festivals is wondering.

Mysteryland was $300 and TomorrowWorld is north of $400.

Different beasts but they are all ID&T so thats the common factor.

Still waiting on the other new festis with similiar/better lineups? Seriously not trying to be a dick, I would take a hard look into them. I'm also doing AIM in Montreal which I would compare to this.

I could have sworn when I found out about this event last week, it was billed as a TWO day festival. Now it's only being advertised as one actual festival day. Not sure I'd fly out to the Inland Empire for a one day festival. If it was LA, I could rationalize it because, hey, it's LA and there's tons of to do.

But yeah the lineup looks great and ID&T will do it proper. Not sure I understand the comments about being worried...this event is being billed as a proper underground party... There will definitely not be any cheese there. Just can't bring myself to spend a bunch of money on a flight and all that for a one day event.

There was one other new festival for this year besides one tribe and desert hearts that I was looking at, but I haven't been able to find it (was really trying so I could link it here)... it was sent over a huge group chat I'm in a couple months ago. It was a relatively smaller festival, not backed by a huge megacorp like ID&T.

Also, to be fair, when I say "better" lineup its likely that you wouldn't agree... i don't put much weight on four to the floor music nowadays...

There are also a lot of really small festivals (<1000 people), some are new, some have been around for a couple years, but they wont have the type of lineup you're looking for. And a ton of festivals with a great lineups that have been around for just a couple years, but they don't qualify as "new" (northern nights one example). And while completely unrelated to new, symbiosis is having their 10 year this year, although its like a week after burning man.

I have a friend i'll ask this weekend at LIB to see if she remembers the festival she linked to us.

If you want cheap airfare to Stockholm, try justfly.com

you're welcome :D

The only festival with a better lineup that I have ever seen is Awakenings Festival but the setting of Into the Valley blows anything else away, IMO. Movement is great too but btdt several times now. Detroit gets old.

For ITV, they are ripping out all the seats that are currently installed at that lime quarry amphitheatre, and creating a huge dancefloor with a capcity of 3500 people. A team from UK is importing the newest Funktion 1 system...and for production they are shooting visuals on the walls and surroundings of the site. It's going to be ing epic. Note: also a small chance you could see Aurora Borealis, but indeed it is a SMALL chance since it's the summer time.

Camping...intimate setting. Possibility for extended sets with less DJs...and most importantly no cheese.

It will be interesting what they price it.

prob because is its the same lineup over and over at all the big festivals now be it EDM or underground.

good music for sure but nothing unique.

I am staying stateside this year and planning for Barcelona, Amsterdam and Ibiza next summer.

All of my comments were meant to be applied to doemstic festivals.

I have a buddy out in LA and I like to spend a week or 2 out there relaxing and beaching it every summer so this is icing.

I was under the impression it was 2 days as well. One day would change things.

EDIT: It is indeed one day of music. So lame, they were so close to nailing it here imo. I will still probably do this since I enjoy Cali but I really wish they a Friday night or Sunday Lineup.

The Desert Heart Crew is doing the Friday night party for those with the camping pass.
