Yea, he was here in Boston last Friday night. I didn't even find out untill Thursday night! I was so lucky, heh, I went in there to buy a Sasha CD to have him sign because he was playing that night in Avalon, and I saw a big poster saying that Oakenfold was going to be there at 8 p.m. the next night signing stuff! I lucked out..heh I got there around 8 o clock exactally on Friday night, and he was allready on...I was surprised that he played an hour set there...and it was for free!! :D I liked his set...he played Southern Sun, and Ready Stedy Go, but other then that he was droping some nice progressive house tunes, and a few breaks!! The only thing that sucked was that they weren't allowing pictures to be taken (with him at the signing...taking pics of him when he was playing was allright..but that didn't bother me that much anyway considering I bumped into him at Ultra 4 last March=) But the other thing was they said only 1 item allowed to be signed..I was like wtf...but I busted out a 2nd cd right in front of him, and he signed it haha :D I got TrancePort signed, and his 2 disc Ibiza cd..Made me pretty happy. I also bumped into Rory which was cool and random as always.
Anyways, definatly worth going!! (If you like Oakenfold that is) :D |
